Services Support Desk

A clear and structured maintenance programme is critical in helping to achieve optimum performance of assets. With nationwide coverage and a service desk supported by our local engineers, Bilfinger UK offers a range of services to support the maximum operation of your assets.


24/7 Helpdesk and Remote Support

Telephone support is a cost effective alternative to a full on-site response support contract and our remote support service provides access to our team of highly qualified and experienced engineers.


Asset Management and Off Site Back Up 

We can visit customers' sites and provide an up to date audit of installed automation equipment, including PLC, SCADA and HMI. We also analyse site spares holding and produce a spares gap analysis, providing an independent review of the kit life cycle. We take back-ups of all automation equipment to ensure availability of off-site copies and are able to review any existing disaster recovery procedures.


Small Works

From PLC/SCADA modifications to small PLC upgrades, small panel modifications to adding new equipment and instrumentation to processes, we understand it’s difficult to juggle the time to complete small projects in-house and still meet production targets. Our small works engineers are here to provide additional expertise to deliver projects when you need extra resource.


Obsolescence Reports

As an independent integrator, Bilfinger can provide impartial advice on an asset’s lifespan, maturity level and supportability. We can provide asset reports that identify risk areas by an easy traffic light system, and work with our customers to deliver migration plans and budgets for CAPEX and a roadmap for investment on assets for the future.


Panel Maintenance

Electrical power is at the heart of any operations facility. Neglecting the maintenance of electrical equipment can lead to safety risks, emergency repairs and failures of equipment. By investing in a programme of preventative panel maintenance with Bilfinger UK, we identify risk areas and then develop ongoing periodic inspection based upon your exact requirements. Making regular scheduled inspections ensures the critical nature of  electrical power is always available enabling the smooth running of our customers' facilities.


Functional Safety Services

Proof testing safety related systems in accordance with IEC61511. Proof testing is one of the scheduled periodic actions required to maintain the integrity of a safety instrumented system. Their purpose is to reveal dangerous undetected faults that may develop over time, potentially leading to catastrophic failures. Ultimately proof testing is required to ensure that employees, the public, the environment and the end users assets and reputation remain protected from harm.

  • Competent TUV certified engineers to review customers' proof test regimes and make recommendations on achieving safety standard compliance and protection from harm.
