Bilfinger Industrial Automation Services (IAS) Ltd is working on the replacement and modification of four local control panels and eight emergency shutdown (ESD) systems on behalf of British Pipeline Agency Limited (BPA). BPA is UK’s leading provider of engineering and operational services to the onshore oil and gas pipeline sector. It is responsible for the distribution of fuel through UK’s pipelines from major refineries, to major UK airports and road fuel terminals.

Bilfinger IAS is to replace the control system of the oldest hydro-electric power station in Wales
Bilfinger Industrial Automation Services (IAS) Ltd is working on one of the oldest hydro–electric power station in Wales. Based in Dolgarrog in the Conwy Valley, Bilfinger has been commissioned by RWE IBS UK acting on behalf of Innogy Renewables UK Ltd, one of Europe’s leading energy companies, to replace the control systems architecture and monitoring systems for increased optimisation and improved reliability.

Bilfinger IAS wins an automation refurbishment project for one of SSE's hydro-electric power stations
Bilfinger Industrial Automation Services (IAS) Ltd is to provide refurbishment of the automation controls for the Deanie Power station at Loch Monar. The station consists of two hydro turbine generators which produce 38MW of electricity for the Scottish Highlands region. The project is part of a larger refurbishment project commissioned by SSE.

Bilfinger secures 210 jobs with BP contract extension
Leading engineering services provider Bilfinger has agreed a new five-year contract with BP to provide maintenance services at two of its largest midstream oil and gas terminals in Scotland, securing 210 jobs.
